Join us for the second online gallery installation of the Race, Prison, Justice Arts Project!
Please join me for this Gallery Launch and Community Conversation!
Over the last month, I co-lead Boston University community members in the Race, Prison, Justice Arts Project. Through this project, we took part in direct conversation with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated artists and reflected on ideas they shared through artistic creation.
Participants in the project have created a wide range of artistic reflections in response to these engagements and topics which will be featured in a virtual gallery. Please explore the Race, Prison, Justice Arts Virtual Gallery at burpjp.weebly.com and join us online on May 6th at 4 pm for a community conversation reflecting on the gallery and engaging in conversation with currently incarcerated artist, Truth, and other special guests: Armand Coleman, Harvey Young, Katherine Kennedy, and Ty Furman.
Register here to attend.
