Over the last five weeks, I have been working with André de Quadros, Judy Braha, and Bradford Dumont to lead the Boston University Race, Prison, Justice Project: Illuminating Story Through the Arts.

We have engaged over 50 BU community members taking part in direct conversation and collaboration with incarcerated and formerly incarcerated artists. Participants have created a wide range of artistic reflections in response to these engagements and topics which will be featured in a virtual gallery that opens Thursday, April 22 at 5 pm eastern. Please visit this gallery and join us for a special community forum on Friday, April 23 at 5 pm eastern engaging in conversation with the brilliant artist, activist, and writer Halim Flowers and other special guests!
